Tech Tip Tuesday – “Locky” Ransomeware

Locky is the the newest variant of ransomware making the rounds on the Interwebs. The most common attack vector is tricking a user into enabling macros in a Word document, which downloads a file to encrypt your files. You can get all your files back for the low price of 0.5 to 1.0 bitcoin ($210-$420). Naked Security from Sophos has provides some strategies to keep you secure.
