Tech Tip Tuesday – GenCyber Hawaii 2016

This summer GenCyber Hawaii will have 8 Tracks for a wide range of participants (K-12 Students and High School Teachers). This FREE cybersecurity camp, is expanding statewide with Tracks on Hawaii Island, Maui, Oahu and Kauai. Check out the GenCyber site for more information.

Tech Tip Tuesday – Hour of Code

The Hour of Code is happening this week (December 7-13, 2015). This year there are 191,037 Hour of Code events around the world for ages 4 to 104. Some of this year’s prizes include laptops for your classroom and a programmable BB-8 droid robot.

Tech Tip Tuesday – Cryptoy App

GCHQ, the British version of the NSA, has developed an educational app to “help students explore the fascinating world of cryptography”. The app was designed by British STEM students. Do you know of any other student developed security tools?
