The Hour of Code is happening this week in conjunction with computer science education week. It gets bigger and better every year. This year they provide statistics to convey the impact they are having in the State of Hawaii. The Hour of Code is happening this week (December 5-12, 2016). There are over 200 tutorials in over 45 languages. They also have robotics activities to help bridge the gap between our successful robotics programs to hardcore coding. #HourOfCode

The Hour of Code is happening this week (December 7-13, 2015). This year there are 191,037 Hour of Code events around the world for ages 4 to 104. Some of this year’s prizes include laptops for your classroom and a programmable BB-8 droid robot.

The Hour of Code is happening December 8-14, 2014. Last December 20 million students did Hour of Code. Even if you don’t plan on participating in the event, check out the website and start coding. There is age appropriate content from ages 4 to 104.
